As part of a NEDO project, CoorsTek KK has developed manufacturing technology for an RCF-free thermal insulation for industrial furnaces that does not increase thermal conductivity even at high temperatures exceeding 1,000°C. As a result, an energy saving effect of 13% compared to conventional insulations was confirmed by verifying using an industrial furnace.

The results of the project will be exhibited at the NEDO booth of the "nano tech 2017 - 16th International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Technology Conference" to be held at Tokyo Big Sight between February 15 and February 17 this year.
