"NEDO Technology Commercialization Program 2017 Final Competition" Held

On February 2, 2018, NEDO held the "NEDO Technology Commercialization Program (TCP) 2017 Final Competition," where R&D-focused startup companies and entrepreneurs presented their business plans in Tokyo. TCP is a program created to support startups and entrepreneurs that are aiming to expand their businesses by utilizing NEDO's projects, as well as researchers with an interest in entrepreneurship.

NEDO selected 12 teams from among 170 total applicants for the related local events. The finalists gave presentations on their business plans in front of approximately 200 investors and companies, in order to attract financing and business partners.

Among the energetic presentations which enlivened the venue, two teams, Rikugo and Azinzo, were awarded the Grand Prize. NEDO also selected the teams for two other awards, the Award for Excellence and the Special Jury Award.
