NEDO Participated in "nano tech 2018/InterAqua 2018"

February 20, 2018

From February 14 to February 16, 2018, NEDO participated in "nano tech 2018 - The 17th International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference" and "InterAqua 2018 - 9th International Water Solution Exhibition" at Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center).

At "nano tech 2018," NEDO exhibited cutting-edge technologies in a wide range of fields, including high-performance materials such as cellulose nanofibers and carbon nanotubes, as well as advanced printed electronics technology and innovative structural materials. NEDO also gave lectures at the nano tech main theater with the theme "State-of-the-art Material Design Utilizing Simulation."

At "InterAqua 2018," NEDO presented overviews of its international demonstration projects and technology development projects and reported on their results, while also performing experiments and showcasing test equipment for seawater desalination technology that uses a forward osmosis membrane method. NEDO also demonstrated internet of things (IoT) technology for high-efficiency waterworks operating systems.

In addition, on February 16, NEDO held a seminar at "ENEX 2018," with the theme "The Latest Trends in the Development of Thermal Management Materials and Technologies."
