NEDO Participated in the International Exhibition "India Smart Grid Week 2018"

NEDO participated in "India Smart Grid Week 2018," India’s largest international exhibition of energy. The exhibition took place in New Delhi from March 5 to March 9.

As a part of the exhibition, NEDO provided guided tours to introduce its full-scale smart grid demonstration project, which is currently being conducted in Panipat in the state of Haryana. Approximately 50 guests, both from India and abroad, participated in the tours. During the tour, the participants visited the operations center and the demonstration facility. There was a lively exchange of questions and answers, indicating great interest in the demonstration project.

During the exhibition, NEDO’s booth attracted many visitors, including the Secretary of Ministry of Power, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, and the President of the India Smart Grid Forum, Reji Kumar Pillai. There was a lively exchange of questions and answers about panel presentations, as well as about exhibited items, such as smart meters.
