NEDO signs agreement with Spain to promote Smart Grid-related technology

 NEDO has signed an agreement with the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) of Spain in order to promote collaborative research and demonstration of Smart Grid-related technology, and Mr. Seiji Murata, the chairman of NEDO exchanged the document on Thursday, September 9th at the headquarter of CDTI in Madrid.
 NEDO and CDTI operate “Japan (NEDO)-Spain (CDTI) Innovation Program (JSIP)”, which provides parallel funding with international cooperative technological development projects through companies. These projects are agreed between Japanese and Spanish companies and other organization. NEDO and CDTI are to bring forward collaborative research and demonstration in this area of technology, using this program.
