Conclusion of a Letter of Intent for Japan - Turkey Joint Project Implementation on Energy Conservation and New Energy Development

  NEDO and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey concluded a letter of intent (LOI) in November 8, 2010 to jointly implement project activities in the field of energy conservation and new energy development. A signing ceremony was held in Ankara and the LOI was signed between NEDO Chairman Murata and Undersecretary Metin Kilci of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.

  The year 2010 commemorates the 120th year of the friendship between Turkey and Japan since the Ertugrul Frigate Disaster. At this "Japan Year 2010 in Turkey", NEDO will endeavor to establish a new partnership between the two countries in an effort to introduce and disseminate energy conservation and new energy technologies, of which effectiveness have been verified in Asian countries.
