NEDO signed a cooperation agreement with the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore

  NEDO and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore signed a Memorandum of Intent to conduct joint project activities for energy conservation technologies in Singapore. The MOI was signed by Mr. Takefumi Fukumizu, President of NEDO, and Mr. Lam Siew Wah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BCA in the Zero Energy Building located at BCA Academy in Braddell. The Government of Singapore is currently undertaking the Green Building Masterplan to introduce energy conservation "green" technologies to 80% of the buildings in Singapore by 2030.

  BCA is a governmental agency leading Singapore's building and construction indutry. The agency conducts building assessment utilizing its Green Mark Scheme introduced and launched under the Green Building Masterplan.

  NEDO aims to contribute to the resolution of energy issues by promoting project implementation for energy conservation technologies, in which Japanese enterprises are expertised, in order to support global development of Japanese enterprises.
