NEDO Participated in Pollutec 2010

  NEDO participated in Pollutec 2010, Europe's largest exhibition for environment and energy, held from November 30 to December 3 in Lyon, France.

  At this year's exhibition, NEDO booth presented the France-Japan collaborative project for smart community to be commenced next year in Lyon's redevelopment area, introducing elemental technologies applied in electric vehicles, rapid battery chargers, PV panels and lithium-ion batteries, which comprise a smart community. Since the NEDO project site is located in Lyon, the introduction panels for the collaborative project, among others, drew interest of many of the visitors to the booth.

  On the first day of the exhibition, Chairman Collomb and Executive Director Moisan, respectively from the Grand Lyon Community and l'Agence de l’Environnement et de la Maitrise de l’Energie (ADEME), the counterpart organizations for the NEDO project in Lyon, visited NEDO booth and confirmed their intentions to cooperate on the implementation of the collaborative project.
