Inauguration Ceremony for Energy Conservation (BEMS) Model Project in Thailand

 An inauguration ceremony was held on January 16, 2013, upon completion of the facility for a demonstrative project being conducted by NEDO and Thailand’s Ministry of Energy to introduce energy conservation technology known as BEMS (Building and Energy Management System) to Amari Watergate Bangkok.
 The ceremony was attended by a number of relevant personnel from Thailand and Japan including Secretary to the Minister of Energy Linda Cherdchai, Director-General Amnuay Thongsathitya of the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Deputy Governor (Business) Somsak Srithongwat of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority, General Manager Pierre-André Pelletier of Amari Watergate Bangkok, NEDO Executive Director Ueda and Managing Director Watanabe of the Chugoku Electric Power Co., Inc, the entrusted company of the project.
