NEDO Concludes Framework Agreement with UNIDO

NEDO Chairman Furukawa and UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) Director-General Kandeh K. Yumkella signed on June 4, 2013 in Tokyo a framework cooperation agreement concluded between NEDO and UNIDO for the purpose of information exchange.
 Chairman Furukawa and Director-General Ymkella, on this occasion, had a meeting and mutually confirmed that global deployment of Japan’s advanced technologies would contribute to further strengthening of the economy and sustainable development of both developing and transition economies.
 NEDO, through cooperation with UNIDO, is determined to promote dissemination of its verified energy and environment technologies to contribute to the resolution of global energy and environmental issues in developing economies where rapid market expansion is anticipated.
