EVs Users Recruitment for Smart Community Project in Hawaii

NEDO's smart community demonstration project, called JUMPSmartMaui, being implemented in Maui County in the State of Hawaii, will be seeking volunteer users of electric vehicles (EVs) as part of the project activities and a recruitment process event was held in Maui's largest shopping center on June 15, 2013. The recruitment will begin this autumn.
 Prior to this event, NEDO President Hato and Maui County Mayor Arakawa signed a cooperative agreement in order to promote closer collaboration.
