Energy Utilization Project Results Presentation Seminar in Cambodia

 A project presentation seminar was held on March 17, 2014 in Phnom Penh for NEDO Survey Project on Dissemination of Energy Utilization of Biomass Like Rice Husk in Rural Area of Cambodia. The seminar was attended by a total of 150 personnel from Japanese and Cambodian governments and private sector corporations, including Minister Suy Sem of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Cambodia and Mr. Yuji Kumamaru, Japan’s ambassador to Cambodia, to take part in active discussions toward the dissemination of the project results within the country.
 NEDO Chairman Furukawa was awarded with a medal of friendship and a certificate by Minister Suy Sem, recognizing NEDO’s efforts in Cambodia over the years.
