Concluded MOU with Two Cities in Denmark for Demonstration of Welfare Equipment Robot Technology

On June 10, NEDO and the two cities of Copenhagen and Faaborg-Midtfyn, Denmark, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) prior to starting demonstration testing of a welfare equipment robot developed in a NEDO project, at care and medical facilities in the two cities.

The MOU was signed by three parties - Executive Director Fumio Ueda of NEDO, Ms. Ninna Thomsen, Mayor, Health and Care Administration, Municipality of Copenhagen, and Mr. Christian Thygesen, Mayor, Municipality of Faaborg-Midtfyn. Executive Director Ueda greeted the attendees, stating that "with this project, we hope to help solve the various problems confronting the welfare sector in both of our countries."
