NEDO Attended the Completion Celebration for a New Verification Plant Designed to Generate Power from Hydrogen Extracted from Aluminium-Based Waste

As part of a NEDO project, Alhytec Inc., with the cooperation of Asahi Printing Co., Ltd., completed the construction of a verification plant designed to generate hydrogen from aluminum-based waste and use it for power generation from fuel cells at Asahi Printing Co., Ltd.’s Toyama Plant. On April 22, a celebration for its completion was held at the site.

NEDO Executive Director Munehiko Tsuchiya attended the completion celebration to give a speech. He said, "This is an excellent project that will lead to solutions for energy and environmental issues. As the project progresses, I hope that Toyama Prefecture will become a starting point for establishing smart communities and building a hydrogen society.”
