NEDO Held the 7th German-Japanese Dialogue Forum for Environment and Energy

On October 27th and 28th, NEDO, in collaboration with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), held the 7th German-Japanese Dialogue Forum for Environment and Energy in Berlin, Germany. Around 200 participants from governmental agencies, businesses, and related organizations of both countries gathered at the forum.

This year's theme was "Smart Solutions and Energy Systems to Help Solve Global Warming Issues.” Presentations and discussions were conducted regarding technology development efforts and related policies by Japan and Germany to develop and implement innovative solutions to the global energy and environmental issues, such as smart communities and energy conservation measures.
