Chairman Furukawa Gives Howard Baker Memorial Lecture

On April 19, NEDO Chairman Kazuo Furukawa gave a Howard Baker Memorial Lecture at the University of Tennessee in the United States. His lecture was the second in a series following one given by former Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda last autumn.

Chairman Furukawa talked about the realization of a hydrogen society in Japan, which will be one of the most advanced in the world.

While in the United States he also gave a keynote speech at a hydrogen conference held at the Wilson Center a think tank in Washington D.C. established by the U.S. Congress on April 21.
