"3rd NEDO Symposium on Power Electronics" Held

On February 14, 2017, NEDO held the "3rd NEDO Symposium on Power Electronics" in Tokyo.

At the symposium, representatives from the railway industry, which has already begun to introduce next-generation power electronics, as well as representatives from industries where power electronics are expected to be deployed in the future like the aerospace industry gave lectures centered around the theme of "New Applications of Next Generation Power Electronics."

In addition, Associate Professor of the University of Tokyo Makoto Takamiya delivered a keynote lecture on the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and power electronics technology, which is expected to develop further in the future.
