NEDO Held a Meeting to Report Interim Results of the "Strategic Advancement of Multi-Purpose Ultra-Human Robot and Artificial Intelligence Technologies (SAMURAI)" Project

On March 29, 2017, NEDO co-hosted a meeting to report interim results of the "Strategic Advancement of Multi-Purpose Ultra-Human Robot and Artificial Intelligence Technologies (SAMURAI)" project along with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tokyo.

At the meeting, NEDO presented the results of pioneering research and the future research and development policy for SAMURAI that NEDO has been working on at the Artificial Intelligence Research Center (AIRC) at AIST since 2015.

In the closing speech, NEDO Executive Director Yoshiteru Sato presented the new research items to be started in fiscal year 2017 while also calling for the participation and cooperation of attendees in AIRC's activities.
