NEDO Held "Innovation Japan 2017 - University Trade Fair & Business Matching Event"

On August 31 and September 1, 2017, NEDO, in cooperation with the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), held the "Innovation Japan 2017 - University Trade Fair & Business Matching Event" at Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibition Center).

At NEDO's presentation space, 107 companies introduced the latest trends in technology, including outstanding R&D-focused startups and promising small and medium-sized enterprises, which NEDO has supported to promote open innovation. The business matching area was made active use of for information exchanges and business discussions with visitors.

At its booth, NEDO held its Consultation for Starting a Business discussions, where project catalysts and venture capitalists certified by NEDO offered consulting about capital raising and enterprise forms. A NEDO seminar, "Aim to be a Global Enterprise: A Passport to Global Expansion" was also held on the final day. The presentations, consultations, and seminars attracted many visitors.
