From September 20 to September 22, 2017, NEDO held an energy technology exhibition and business meeting event, the "India-Japan Energy Forum 2017 Exhibition." The forum was part of the "11th Renewable Energy India Expo 2017 (REI2017)" in Greater Noida, India. In NEDO’s pavilion, NEDO and ten Japanese companies exhibited the results of NEDO's projects, including their work on energy-management technology for encouraging the development of "smart society" energy use habits, which promoted the expansion of the project's results in India. In addition, the Japanese companies introduced their products and services, as well as conducting active business discussions with visitors.

On September 21, Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy Shri Raj Kumar visited NEDO's booth. NEDO explained to Minister Kumar that NEDO would like to contribute to promoting development in India by introducing Japan's advanced energy and environment technologies to the country.
