NEDO held the robotics conference, "Robots on the Rise" at the Computer History Museum in Silicon Valley

On October 16, NEDO held the robotics conference, "Robots on the Rise" at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California in collaboration with Silicon Valley Forum. NEDO Chairman Mr. Furukawa opened the event with a speech describing the conference as a great opportunity for all stakeholders in the Japanese and U.S. robotics field to come together and build stronger relationships.

The conference featured lectures and panel discussions about robotic development strategies, the forefront robotic businesses, and R&D trends with leading experts from Japan and the U.S. The conference also introduced an upcoming event, 'World Robot Summit' which is an international robot competition & exhibition scheduled to be held in 2018 and 2020 in Japan organized by NEDO and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry.

The high turnout of more than 600 participants highlighted the strong level of interest in robot technology and companies in Japan and the U.S.
