NEDO Held "NEDO Forum 2017 in Mie"

On November 8, NEDO held its "NEDO Forum 2017 in Mie" at Hotel Green Park Tsu in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture.

In his opening speech, NEDO Executive Director Kiyoshi Imai greeted attendees by saying that NEDO hoped that this forum could contribute to supporting local companies and universities as they start new businesses, while also revitalizing the economy in Mie Prefecture by helping these entities to take advantage of NEDO's support systems.

At the special symposium on robots, Professor Emeritus Tomomasa Sato of the University of Tokyo delivered the keynote lecture, and tmsuk Co., Ltd. and KREUZ Co., Ltd. also both gave lectures on NEDO project case studies. At the explanatory meeting, NEDO representatives provided information on proposal solicitation, and they were joined by representatives from the Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation JAPAN, and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). Each provided information on their own projects and activities. NEDO also offered individual consultations about NEDO's current project solicitations.
