"13th ADEME-NEDO Seminar" Held

December 15, 2017

On December 13, NEDO and the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) held the "13th ADEME-NEDO Seminar," as part of the World Efficiency 2017 exhibition in Paris, France. The seminar was centered around the theme of "Hydrogen and electricity infrastructure for future mobility," and about 80 participants from government agencies, private companies, and other related organizations from both Japan and France attended.

During the seminar, the participants had lively discussions regarding the expected future technologies of smart community systems and hydrogen infrastructure. The discussions were prompted by an announcement from the government of France that it plans to end the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles and promote the introduction of electric vehicles (EV) and fuel cell vehicles (FCV).

As a part of the seminar, on December 14, participants visited facilities for infrastructure technologies related to hydrogen power and EVs.
