和文要約石炭燃焼プロセスにおける微量成分除去技術の開発には、高精度の測定技術が必要である。ガス状微量元素の分析に関する公定法の一部は存在せず、石炭中については、国際規格ISO、国内規格JISとも存在しない。本技術開発では、分析技術の国際的な標準化を目的に、規格化に資するためコールバンクの拡充と同バンクの石炭を利用したデータの蓄積、ガス状ホウ素及びセレンの分析方法の確立を行う。また、確立した測定方法を基に、実機あるいはベンチスケールにおいて、ガス中ホウ素及びセレンの測定を行い、挙動解明を目指す。

Data Accumulation for Preparation of International Standard Analytical Methods of Trace Elements in Coal. (FY2007-FY2013) FY2010 Annual Report
1. Results (1) Coal Bank:6 kinds of new commercial grades of coal was prepared as standard materials and to obtain their analytical data. (2) Analytical database of trace elements in coal for standardization:Based on guidance, ISO23380:2008 “Selection method of analyses on trace elements in coal” (refer to AIST method in Annex B) issued in fiscal 2008 at ISO/TC27 (Solid mineral fuels), activities for the formulation of Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) on the guidance were conducted.(3) Advanced sampling and analysis of gaseous trace elements:a) Development of optimum sampling methods:A mechanism in which selenium adheres to pipes through simulated flue gases and the optimization of H2SO4/KMnO4 solutions to be used for the cleaning of pipes conducted after collecting samples were studied.b) A proposal in regard to standardization of analytical method of gaseous selenium and boron in flue gas b-1)The repeatability and reproducibility tests using standard gases in the measuring method of gaseous selenium in flue gases:Gaseous selenium concentrations were measured several times in each concentration to calculate the standard variations and variation coefficients.b-2) Uncertainty evaluation for measurement methods of gaseous boron and selenium in flue gas:In terms of the measuring method of boron and selenium in flue gas, data on uncertainty about the measuring method were obtained.c) An evaluation of applicability of analytical methods for actual flue gas:The amounts of boron and selenium in flyash, filter, solvent and adherent ones on the inside of the sampling lines were measured. The recovery rate was almost 100%. It was judged that gaseous and condensed boron and selenium in flue gas were satisfactorily sampled and measured.(4) A proposal of analytical method of gaseous boron and selenium to ISO and JIS:For the measurement method of boron in flue gas, a draft for JIS was made, and for the measurement method of selenium in flue gas, working draft (WD) for ISO was made and submitted to ISO as a NWIP (New Work Item Proposal).
