英文要約Title: The Model Project for Highly Efficient Coal Preparation Technology at India (FY2008-FY2011) FY2010 Annual Report
1. Contents and results of the Model Project: This Model Project introduces highly efficient coal preparation technology from Japan to the Indian coal industry. Coal preparation technology (ash separation) is demonstrated in order to provide a stable supply of coal with consistent quality at a relatively low cost. Also, through this Model Project efforts are made to disseminate the technology in India in order to improve the efficiency of coal supplies and to mitigate its negative environmental impact. In this Model Project, the raw coal (ash content 40-50%) produced in UTKAL B2 coalmine that Monnet Ispat & Energy LTD in India owns is divided into clean coal (ash content 34% or less) and waste (mainly ash) at high efficiency. In order to get the high separation efficiency, the Vari-Wave JIG technology and the Auto Reject Control technology are introduced, and this Model Project will prove the validity of both technologies. Monnet Ispat began leveling the construction site in fiscal year 2010. However, the land issue of the construction site happened in January 2010 and the leveling was interrupted. The land issue was settled in September, and the leveling was restarted and completed. However, because the construction site had been specified for the Critical Polluted Area by Ministry of Environment & forest, the construction of the coal preparation plant was interrupted again and the interruption of construction continued until the end of the fiscal year. In the 2010 fiscal year that is the third year of this Model Project, the following contents were carried out. (1) Examination of layout of the coal preparation plant: The layout that avoided land of the dispute was examined. (2) Examination of level of the coal preparation plant: The floor level in each system was examined because there was a vertical interval of about 10m in the coal preparation plant construction site. (3) Manufacture and procurement of equipments: The chain feeder parts and bucket elevator parts made in Japan were transported to ENESTEE in Nagpur city, India. The combination test that assembled parts made in Japan to the equipments manufactured by ENESTEE was executed. 2. Results: (1) Publishing and lecture: The following contribution was performed in order to publicize this Model Project. * The Mining & Materials Processing Institute of Japan (An annual autumn meeting). * International Coal Preparation Conference in India. * Indian Institute of Coal Management. * Clean Coal for Earth, Exchange Association of Coal Preparation Technologies between India & Japan. * NEDO, CCT Seminar at New Delhi. 3. Other special notes: The name of Vari-Wave JIG spreads to India as a result of announcing to public, and the following four inquiries have come. * Rajrappa Coal Preparation Plant (CIL). * Ashoka Coal Preparation Plant (CIL). * Coal Preparation Plant of BCCL (CIL). * Adani Mining Priv.
