和文要約(1)全国規模での落雷電流計測、落雷様相観測
・落雷電流計測地点(25ヶ所)、落雷様相観測地点(12ヶ所)において、計測・観測を実施し、月別落雷数の整理、風力発電所設置前後での雷放電の集中率、落雷密度と落雷被害率との関係の調査・分析、計測データと標定データとの相関等について検討を行った。
(2)落雷被害詳細調査
・アンケート調査や落雷被害情報等を踏まえ、落雷被害発生地点等における現地ヒアリング調査を実施し、冬季期間中の被害データ収集のため事業者へ追加アンケートを送付した。また、避雷器(SPD)では、消耗品と考える事業者もあり、アンケート形式を見直した。
(3)落雷保護対策の検討
・落雷リスクマップ作成にあたって、落雷被害因子の検討、落雷密度マップおよび累積電流値マップの作成、落雷頻度・落雷被害要素マップの試作を行った。また、風車メーカーへアンケートを行い、機種別に保護対策を分類・整理した。

This work, Research and Development of Next-generation Wind Power Generation Technology for Technology Corresponding to Natural Environment etc. for Measures of lightning protection, is intended to prepare an instructive map of the risk of lightning flashes to earth and establish a measure of lighting protection that are operated from fiscal year 2008. The contents of research for this fiscal year 2010 are mentioned below. (1) Lightning current measurements were operated at 25 areas of windmill site throughout Japan as a continuative work from last fiscal year 2009 that contain electric charge, a frequency distribution of specific energy and presence of correlation between each data for picking out the lightning characteristics at each area. (2) Observations for aspects of lightning stroke were operated at 12 areas of windmill site throughout Japan as a continuative work from last fiscal year 2009 that contain analysis of animations of lightning stroke by video camera and lightning situations. All lightning strokes have hit blade, therefore these data were mentioned an importance of lightning protection measures of blade. (3) Questionnaire investigations were operated as a continuative work from last fiscal year 2009. Classify damage data of each part of wind power generation equipment and damages in this country caused by lightning were operated. Hearing investigations were operated in areas that areas have damaged on wind power generation equipments by lightning strokes. The purpose of hearing investigation is the comprehension of points at issue. Classify useful measures at pertinent areas were implemented to take steps and demonstrate for next fiscal year 2011. (4) The following points of questionnaire investigations were improved by progressing work so far and previous questionnaire investigations. The object was an improvement of response rate and contents. i) Offer instructive information to businesses such as “Wind power guideline for Japan”. ii) Pick out cases of Surge Protective Device damage. iii) Confirm to supply lightning measurement data that businesses originally execute. (5) Sampling factors of lightning damage that assume to use for a map of the risk of lightning flashes to earth and examine the validity. (6) Examine relations between result of lightning measurement and rating data by following points of view for examination of a map of the risk of lightning flashes to earth. i) Concentrated rate of lightning to wind power generation equipment. ii) Relations between lightning density and damage rate. iii) Relations between measure time zones and rating data on windmill site. (7) A trial map of the risk of lightning flashes to earth was made.
