英文要約Fujikura has been assigned to provide Hastelloy tapes with IBAD buffer layer (buffer
layer tape) and coated conductor (CC) tapes for the field tests of superconducting
power devices in the present project which has started from June 2008. In the 2010
fiscal year, 10-mm width buffer layer tapes and 5-mm width CC tapes were delivered
to the project. The total amount of buffer layer tapes was 7.8 km, the total amount
of CC tapes for SMES project was 1.01km and the total amount of CC tapes for FCL project
was 4.48km.
In the 2010 fiscal year, the IBAD-MgO tapes were examined by the joint research
companies as candidate for upgraded IBAD-layer. As a result, the the tapes were
approved to deliver to the present project. The IBAD-MgO tapes will be delivered to
the project in the 2011 fiscal year.
In the 2010 fiscal year, we had improved the fabrication method of PLD and we
succeeded in improvement in Ic distribution along the CC tape. As the result, standard
deviation of Ic value was suppressed within 6.1% of average Ic value of the CC tape.
