(1)エネルギー機器の特性調査

This study was carried out for detached houses constructed at the end of FY2010 in the Keihanna region, to develop methods for charge-discharge control of storage batteries charged by photovoltaic generation, charge-discharge control optimized for residential-use energy equipment (e.g., heat pump-based water heaters or fuel cells), and information exchange between a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) and a Regional Energy Management System (Regional EMS). In FY2010, we focused our efforts on: (1) characterizing the energy equipment, (2) studying control methods for the equipment, and (3) developing hardware for a HEMS-side gateway that can be connected to the Regional EMS. We installed various types of energy equipment in the Omron Keihanna Innovation Center, and investigated how to acquire information from it, how to control it, and issues relating to its installation. We developed various control methods for the equipment, and a visualization system for promoting energy savings and lower CO2 emissions by residents. Several of the control methods are optimized for stationary storage cells and are compatible with the use of storage batteries in ordinary households. In addition, for connection of the HEMS-side gateway to the Regional EMS, we implemented an interface specification based on the Common Specifications of Survey Program for Standardization of Regional Energy Management Systems (ver. 0.5) and verified its ability to communicate with a simulated Regional EMS prepared by the company in charge of the Regional EMS.
