(1)本年度調査の位置づけ
本年度の調査は、CO2船舶輸送を想定した、貯蔵施設を有する陸上基地の、概念設計のための予備調査と位置付けられる。本体の概念設計については、来年度以後実施する。

1. Investigation concerning existing (resemblance) technology and related regulation concerning the base on land : A current liquefaction carbon dioxide tank was investigated about the steel tank. Existing LPG and LNG tank (low temperature and normal pressure) were investigated about an underground tank. A natural gas high-pressure tank (normal temperature and high pressure) and LPG underground stocks (normal temperature and high pressure) were investigated about the bedrock tank. Low temperature LPG facility which has the temperature and the pressure condition near CO2 liquid was investigated about the loading and unloading equipment. The High Pressure Gas Safety Act and the Electricity Business Act were compared.
2. Decision of examination case with conceptual design concerning the base on land : As the conceptual design condition, the state of CO2 was decided as liquid (low temperature). And, the storage capacity of the base on land was assumed from the amount of the CO2 collection assumed with the demonstration plant and the commercial plant. The temperature and pressure were assumed to adopt the condition of around -50℃/0.7MPa in consideration of bulk transportation. The design temperature and pressure were assumed by the pressure fluctuation band. The problems of a steel tank, an underground tank, the bedrock tank, and the loading and unloading equipment were extracted and compiled.
