電気自動車の蓄電池を他用途に利活用する V2X を実現する場合に、誰がどのような役割を果たすかといったユースケース(利用シーン)の分析が現状では不十分である。そこで、V2X に関するユースケースの分析を行うために、国内外における V2Xに関する技術動向調査を実施し、国内外における V2X の標準化に向けたユースケースの検討状況の情報収集を行った。

(1) Study on EV use cases (use scenario) for V2X
In order to realize V2X with batteries on EVs, we conducted a study on EV use cases and researched who plays what kind of role in each use case. To study on EV use cases for V2X we investigated technologial trend of V2X in Japan and abroad, and collected information on the status of other studies on EV use cases for standardization of V2X.
(2) Development of FEMS (Factory Energy Management Systems)
a) Development of FEMS (Factory Energy Management Systems)
System configuration of network, server, security and power system for FEMS, EIS, EVs, and PVs was determined. Extension of quick charge protocol “CHAdeMO” is considered for discharging battery.
We extracted fundamental functions of FEMS such as plan, supervision, control, information display, information provision to EIS, and system operation by considering use cases. Interfaces between FEMS and external systems such as EIS, EV-PCS, Battery-PCS, PV-PCS and power meters were also specified.
b) Study on EV battery reuse
Once EVs become common, disposal of EV batteries will be a major issue. Even after battery capacity becomes low and not suitable for EV, batteries still can be used for other purposes. We collected information on requirements for facility uses, and put together issues on EV battery reuse so that we can use EV batteries for other purposes.
(3) Development of EV Integration System (EIS); versatile IT system for EV
a) Development of common infrastructure system for V2X to be operated by aggregators
It is difficult to utilize EV batteries for other purposes without knowing SOC of each battery on EV. In order to solve this problem, we are planning to develop a battery information system which can manage information on battery status such as SOC, and driving schedule, etc. We investigated into actual situation of vehicle usage and current status of aggregation business which is making use of V2X.
b) The development of fundamental information model from the vehicle to realize V2X.To realize V2X, we have to keep EV’s most important function as a vehicle.
So in this study, we investigate which information from the vehicle is needed, in order to realize both function as a vehicle and function as a battery.
And we have developed a gateway, which can output vehicle internal data with safety and high security.
c) Development of universal EV Integration System (EIS)
Fundamental functions of EIS, its database configuration, and interfaces between EIS and external systems were clarified.
We extracted fundamental functions of EIS such as user authentication, server for user information, EV schedule management, identification of users and their EVs, and reception of EV status such as SOC by considering use cases.
Interfaces between EIS and external systems such as FEMS and user information terminals were also specified.
