(1) 研究概要
本プロジェクトは、ベトナム社会主義共和国・トゥアティエン=フエ省地域を対象とし、高濁度河川水を水源とするセラミック膜浄水設備を用いた省エネルギー型浄水システムの構築とそれによる水道用水供給事業の事業化に向けた実証検討及びその普及展開活動を行うものである。

Contents, Results, etc. of Research and Development (1) Outline of Research: This project targets the Thua Thien-Hue Province region in Vietnam, with the purpose of constructing an energy-saving water system by using ceramic membrane filtration equipment at highly turbid water source as well as considering experiment for the commercialization of water supply project and to engage in activities to spread such commercialization. --- What experimental research project aims for --- a) Utilization of unused water sources. b) Ensuring safe and high-quality potable water. c) Demonstration of operation & maintenance and economic potential. d) Conservation of energy and water. e) Establishment of water business operation and management technology. (2) Results of current fiscal year: a) Detailed investigation regarding commercialization plan --- We conducted water quality survey of the river, which is currently utilized in the regions where water supply will be discharged from the demonstration plant. In addition,we conducted face-to-face questionnaire survey, to the residents of planned water supply area and studied the status of currently used water (water sources, us-age, quality and quantity) as well as the willingness to pay water charges etc. After the completion of the project, we received consensus with the Thua Thien-Hue Province Public Committee and water supply companies in regards to the shared implementation of commercialization-related studies during phase 3. b) Investigative study of dissemination measures --- We have gathered information from other regions within Vietnam through hearings, etc. in relation to water use, underground water quality (state of pollution and salt water damage, etc.), river water quality (turbidity, etc.), etc. We have also acquired an understanding of market scale, from which we have picked out proposed regions for expansion of the project. In addition, for water related organization in Indonesia, Cambodia, we interviewed regarding the possibility of applying small-scale distribution water supply system etc., as well as current status and challenges of water utilities and the approach to water services by the private sector. c) Construction of the demonstration plant --- We have completed detailed design of the central monitoring facilities at existing Quang Te 2 water treatment plant and the water treatment plant at Dien Mon com-mune (planned flow rate: 3,000 m3/d), which comprise the experimental research fa-cilities. In addition, we have manufactured and purchased part of machinery and tools.
