本事業では、自然の雪または氷による冷房・冷蔵を目的とした雪氷熱利用システムを対象として、目的の空間の温度を保持するために必要とされた雪氷熱利用熱量を風量と温度および湿度の計測により高精度で測定する手法(以下、基準計測手法という)を確立する。また、基準計測手法より低コストな計測器、計測センサーを使用した3 種の簡易計測手法について提案・実証を行い、基準計測手法との比較を行うことで、低コストかつ20%未満の誤差で熱量計測する手法を確立する。

The purpose of this project is:
1) To establish methods that enable to measure heat value exactly that used to keep temperature of the facilities that use the cold energy of snow and ice by measuring temperature, humidity, and airflow.
2) To propose low cost measuring methods by using low cost instruments or measuring heat balance of the facility.
In this project "Ice Shelter" is used. Ice Shelter is the facility that uses the cold energy of natural ice. Ice Shelter contains "ice storage room" and "utility room". The ice storage room has containers filled with ice or water, to keep temperature about 0℃. The utility room can be used as farm product storage room.
Ice Shelter with storage room (148m2), and utility room (60m2) was built. In the ice storage room, there are 750 containers filled with 250kg of water. The utility room is used as farm product storage room, has containers with 22t of potato.
Measuring instruments (thermocouples of type T, data loggers, temperature/humidity meters, ultrasonic airflow meter, pitot tubes, pyranometer) were installed in Ice Shelter and measurement was started on February 20. By means of water temperature measurements, it was comfirmed that ice making has finished.
