和文要約タイ国のチョンブリ県に位置するAMATA NAKORN工業団地において、ハイブリッド膜処理システムを用いて、高色度の原水を処理し高度な工業用水を経済的なコストで供給するための研究をプラント実験により開始した。プラント実験設備は工業団地内の工業用水造水施設の敷地内に設置し、2011年12月中旬よりプラント実験を開始している。実験設備はイオン交換処理を前処理とし、後段に浸漬型MF膜装置とケーシング型MF膜装置を並列で配置しており、イオン交換を含むハイブリッド膜処理の運転を連続で実施している。
 現地の原水はAMATA貯水池水、TANAKON貯水池水、SYREIYADダム水を混合して用いているが、いずれの原水も有機物濃度が高く、高色度の水である。特にAMATA貯水池水とSYRIADダム水の色度は高く真色度で30度以上である。プラント実験では、これらの原水をイオン交換処理した後に膜処理を行ってるが、本年度の実験では膜装置でPAC70mg/L、次亜塩素酸3.5mgCl2/Lの条件で色度1.9度、濁度0.01以下の膜ろ過水が得られている。ちなみに、このときの既存設備の処理水の色度は8.6度、濁度は0.8度であり、本システムにより従来処理より高度な処理水が確認されている。なお、浸漬型MF膜装置での生物学的酸化を組合せた運転は2月中旬から実施している。現在はまだ十分なデータはそろっていないが、色度の除去性で比較すると、次亜塩素酸による化学的酸化を組合せた方が良好な処理性が得られる。
 浸漬型MF膜装置は膜ろ過流束を0.8m3/(m2・日)、水回収率98%での運転を行っているが、前塩素を用いた運転では膜差圧の上昇はなく、安定した膜ろ過運転が行えた。なお、前塩素行わない運転を2月中旬より行っているが、運転切り替え後に膜差圧が若干上昇するが、その後は安定した運転を継続している。一方、ケーシング型MF膜は膜ろ過流束を1.5m3/(m2・日)、水回収率94%で運転を開始した。当初は膜差圧の上昇が比較的は早かったが、水回収率を88%まで低下させると安定する。なお、その後、物理洗浄時の水逆洗圧力を130kPaから170kPaへ上昇させて水回収率92.4%での運転を行っているが、現状では膜差圧の急激な上昇はなく比較的安定した膜ろ過運転が継続している。

英文要約The pilot plant experiment of the hybrid MF membrane system was started in AMATA NAKORN Industrial estate in Chonburi province in Thailand. The hybrid MF membrane system to treat the high natural colored surface water in Thailand have been investigated by this plant experiment and the economical efficiency of this system will be also examined. The pilot plant facility were constructed in the site of the water treatment plant in this industrial estate, and the experiment was started in the middle of December 2011.
In this pilot plant, the ion exchange reactor is placed as the pretreatment process, followed by the submerged MF membrane separator and the pressurized MF membrane separator, placed in parallel.
The raw water of this experiment system is mixture of AMATA reservoir water, TANAKON reservoir water, and SRIYAD dam water. Each water contains high concentration of the natural colored organics. Especially the chromaticity after filtration of AMATA reservoir and SYRIAD dam water were as high as more than 30 degrees. In this pilot plant, the high-colored water is pretreated by ion exchange, and processed by the membrane separation system. Under the chemical dosage condition with 70 mg/l of PAC and 3.5 mg/l of sodium hypochlorite, the chromaticity of the treated water from the MF membrane after the pretreatment of the ion exchange of these high colored raw water was as low as 1.9. And also the turbidity was as low as 0.01 and less. On the other side, the chromaticity of the treated water from the existing system was 8.6 and the turbidity was 0.8 in the same experimental period,. From these results, it is clear that further more advanced water could be obtained from the hybrid MF membrane system which has being studied in the pilot plant experiment.
And also from the middle of February, the submerged MF membrane has been in operation in combination with the biological oxidation. We still have no sufficient data of this operation but the color treatability of this system seems to be a little inferior to the system which is combined with the chemical oxidation.
The submerged MF membrane has been operating with the flux of 0.8 m/day under the water recovery rate of 98 %. In the period of the operation with the addition of the pre-chlorination, almost no increase of TMP was observed, and the membrane filtration was stable. After starting the operation without pre-chlorination in mid-February, the TMP had once increased but a week later the TMP gradually became stable, and it keeps the stable operation until today.
On the other side, the pressurized MF membrane was started with the flux of 1.5 m/day under the water recovery rate of 94%. In the first period, TMP increased considerably rapidly, but after changing the water recovery rate from 94% to 88%, the TMP decreased and remain stabled. After these operation periods, now the pressurized membrane has been operating in the condition that the back washing pressure at the physical washing have been changed from 130kPa to 170kPa and the water recovery rate is 92.4%. Since this change of back washing pressure, the rapid increase of TMP have not been observed and the considerably stable filtration has been continuing.
