(1) 概要
海水淡水化装置など膜を用いる水処理プラントの運転において、微生物による膜の目詰まり(バイオファウリング)が装置の維持やコストに大きく影響している。しかし原水(入り口水)の水質と目詰まりの関係についてはあまり解明されていない。
英文要約In desalination processes, bio-fouling of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes is one of the issues for plant operation. However mechanism of bio-fouling that is not well defined. A purpose of this development is to develop a measurement system which can monitor standard water properties, UV-VIS and size distribution of nano-particle to reveal the mechanism of bio-fouling.: In FY2010, this development was carried on three points. The first is research of provious studies about membrane fouling and minor components in sea water. The second is determination of a specification of the prototype measurement system. The third is design and production of the prototype.: To survey latest research trend about desalination process, we attended to International Desalination Workshop (Korea) and International Desalination Association (Bahrain). We also surveyed previous literatures and discussed with Dr. Kurihara, Prof. Kogure and Prof. Amy. The result of surveys indicated that transparent exopolymer particles (TEP) are supposed to be one of bio-foulant.: The prototype measurement system consists of control part and measurement part. The control part includes touch panel display, PC, power source and power line communication. The measurement part includes three instruments which are U-53, MU-2000 and SZ-100. U-53 (HORIBA Ltd.) can provide basic water characters (pH, oxidation reduction potential, dissolved oxygen, conductivity, water temperature, turbidity). The MU-2000 (HORIBA Ltd.) and SZ-100 (HORIBA Ltd.) are UV-VIS spectrophotometer and nano-particle analyzer, respectively.: The assembly and off-site testing had been done. The on-site testing in Okinawa would start end of May in 2011. In addition, modification of the prototype would be done based on the on-site measurement data.
