・大規模RO プラント概念設計
塩濃度3.8%の海水を対象に,造水量100 万m3/日規模の海水淡水化プラントの試設計を実施した。プラントは,前処理工程からRO 膜処理工程まで行う機器を備えた造水量10 万m3/日規模の設備を1 トレインとし,10 トレインの組み合わせで構成されている。1 トレイン内において,前処理工程では複層ろ過装置(MMF),UF 膜でシリーズ処理し,RO膜処理工程では2 段階の処理を行う2 パス方式を採用した。各パスには,1 パス目400本,2 パス目120 本のRO ベッセル( 1 本のRO ベッセルには、6 本のRO 膜エレメントを装填)を設置し,造水量100 万m3/日規模の大型海水淡水化プラントを設計できる見通しを得た。引続き,最適レイアウト,最適使用機器選定等について検討を行い,メガトンRO プラントの概念設計思想確立を目指す。
英文要約Draft designing for the desalination plant which capacity is one million m3/day has been completed. The target seawater’s salinity is 3.8%. This draft design shows the plant comprises 10 trains. Each train has hundred thousand m3/day desalination capacities and provides pretreatment facility and RO membrane unit. We introduce MMF and UF in series for pretreatment and adopt two-pass method which treats seawater in two steps for desalination. The number of RO vessels in the first pass is 400, the second is 120.Each vessel includes six RO membrane elements. Optimization of vessel layout and equipments selection will be studied in future. The concept of new construction method for large scaled RO plant is established based on the module construction method operated in nuclear power plant named “Space Module Method”. It brings short term construction. There are two types (type-A and type-B) of the automated membrane elements exchange tools are being developed. The Type-A delivers a 16 inch element from stock yard to the type-B machine. The type-B can adjust the heavy weighted element to the correct position precisely for inserting and withdrawing. Multipurpose plant for pilot scaled test has been preparing. The test plant consists of an MMF (Multi-Media Filter) unit, a UF (Ultra filtration) unit, a large RO unit and two small RO units (4inch RO elements). Each unit is set in a 40ft container individually. The MMF and the UF will be used as pretreatment. Capacities are 1,200m3/d (MMF) and 1050m3/d (UF).The capacity of the large RO unit is 450m3/d with permeate recovery rate at 50% and the capacity of small RO unit is 2m3/d each. Designing and manufacturing each test unit has finished and the implementation site for the test plant has prepared in at Okinawa prefecture. The corrosion resistance evaluation experiment in artificial seawater has been performed. The result of this experiment brings the corrosion ratio and the pitting corrosion resistance as valid data for comparison with actual seawater data. Other two fields for corrosion resistance evaluation experiment in actual seawater have been prepared. These locations have different polluted seawater.
