英文要約This paper reports an abstract of the half way report of “The research of Inverter Integrated SR Motor purposed for substituting general Induction
Machine” which had been investigated from April. 2012 to Mar. 2013.
This research involves 4 topics by each research group, each result is
summarized as follows.
1. A study of electrical steel sheet with low iron loss and high torque
density, Kitakyushu College of Technology.
A proposed motor uses the grain oriented steel sheet to improve its torque and efficiency characteristics. In this research a special phenomenon
which is brought by only the grain oriented steel sheet called magnetic
anisotropy torque was measured. It was confirmed that the torque was
generated at high flux density condition. Also the parameter of the stator shape was optimized to utilize the torque, the unique shape was obtained.
Adding that the iron loss of the grain oriented steel core was measured.
It was confirmed that the iron loss is lower than it of the non oriented
steel sheet not at the high frequency region.
2. A study of high efficiency driving method of low vibration SR motor,
Gifu University.
A skewing motor focused on reducing the vibration was driven and the
vibration was measured and compared. By the skewing structure, it was
possible to reduce the vibration from -6dB to -9dB compared with non
skewing machine.
Also the improved machine was designed and the efficiency was measured.
As a result a peak efficiency was over 90% at the low speed region because of cupper less structure.
3. Development of the cluster inverter and SR motor with oriented
electrical steel sheet,Shibaura Institute of Technology.
5kW SR motor was designed and torque and efficiency characteristics were
measured.
The designed motor used the grain oriented steel sheet at the tooth of
rotor and stator to improve its torque characteristics, also the thickness of the sheet was selected as 0.25mm to reduce the iron loss. As a result,
the efficiency was 93.8% and the torque was 20% improved. Since we have a
technique of the square current wave drive by the current source inverter
which technique improve the efficiency 4% up, also we expect the special
torque by the grain oriented steel sheet, the efficiency will be 95%.
Adding that, the current source inverter was renewed to improve the
efficiency. The quasi current source inverter was used and the coil of the DC/DC chopper was rebuild by using the flat low resistance wire. As a
result the efficiency was over 95% at 4kW output.
4. A study of the switching power device for Switched Reluctance Machine drive, Sumitomo Bakelite Co., LTD.
The thermal analysis was performed to design the high power density
inverter by using the created thermal model. The analysis result was
compared with the experimental result, the similar result was obtained.
By using this result, the 2nd generation cluster inverter was designed and made. The efficiency is over 95%, the size become a quarter of 1st
generation inverter.
