Improve the conductivity of CNT
We designed and developed "furnace system generated CNT", "set generation unit CNT" and "recovery unit CNT". Utilizing these equipments, a method for controlling the structure of the CNT was established and SWCNT and DWCNT, were measured by TEM, Raman spectroscopy and TG-DTA.
We improved conductivity of CNT yarn by doping of different elements and intercalation.

Lengthening of CNT conductor 
We designed and developed "prototype winding line CNT"(0.5m winding amount) for the recovery of small winding directly from CVD synthesis of CNT, "manual wire twisting device CNT" (0.5m length twisting) and "a set of secondary processing equipment spinning". Utilizing these uquipment, we successfully synthesized the CNT yarn of 66cm including SWCNT, DWCNT and confirmed to improve the aggregate density CNT.

Insulating and joint
Literature search was performed for CNT surface modification with functional groups needed to directly connect each CNTs. CNT yarn was sucessfully coated with a UV curing resin by applying an automatic coating device. We accomplished the uniformity of coating thickness (the deviation level of thickness: less than 20%).
