英文要約Title: Thin Film Full Spectrum Solar Cells with Low Concentration Ratios (Optical Control) (FY2008-2014) FY2012 Annual Report

We have been researching to develop optical splitting structure for thin film full spectrum solar cells and getting some results as follows. We successfully designed favorable optical splitter with specified split-off wavelength by utilizing developments in optical simulation technique and fabricated optical splitter having similar optical characteristics as simulated results. That fabricated splitter shows good optical characteristics whose transmittance and recflectance is greater than 90% and we can suppress optical losses to low level below 8%. Furthermore, We applied splitter to the all silicon related thin film full spectrum solar cell structure using wide gap amorphous silicon top solar cell and hetero-junction silicon bottom cell. And we can successfully achieve 25.0% total intrinsic efficiency. And also, we can contribute to the progress of research project in group leader by supplying optical splitter that fit for their system.
