Nowadays, a variety of detection technologies and devices with high sensitivity are researched and developed. However, size of any device is not small. And it is weak at vibration and dust. Therefore, it is not suited that these instruments are operated on a site. On the other hand, SPR (surface plasmon resonance) measurement instrument with antigen antibody interaction does not have movable part. It can be made with small size and low cost. It can detect various target substances by using the antibody which has specificity to the target substance. Our purpose is a development of SPR instrument, which can detect "biological agents", "chemical agents", and "explosives" on the site. We develop procedures for detection of multi danger using SPR measurement with antigen-antibody interaction. Our target value is as follows. Biological agent:1x10^7 CFU/ml Chemical agent:1 ug/ml Explosive:1 ppb We selected O-157 strain of the E.coli bacteria as a target of biological agent, enterotoxin as a target of chemical agent, trinitrotoluene as a target of explosive. We carried out the experiment for modification process and obtaining a limit of detection on each sensor surface for each target such as O-157, enterotoxin, and TNT. As a result, we obtained that limit of detections are 1x10^6 CFU/ml for O-157, 0.1 ug/ml for enterotoxin, 0.3 ppb for TNT using the compact SPR sensing instrument.Appropriate antibody and the sensor chip were selected for each target. Flow cell and fixture of flow cell were designed for use without practice. Making procedure of mixed SAM for highly sensitive detection of explosives was fixed. Our SPR system configuration with below 15 kg was designed. We confirmed that there is sufficient market size. Our concept and our developing instruments are ahead with other instruments on the market.
