1.1 Applicability evaluation of vehicle CO2 emission evaluation method (JARI)
The factors affecting CO2 emission which should be taken into consideration in CO2 emission model are extracted. By using this result, the CO2 emission model developed in "Development of Energy-saving ITS Technologies" was selected.

1.2 Applicability evaluation of power consumption evaluation method in electric vehicle (MHI,JARI,IIS)
The factor affecting to power consumption was extracted as with CO2 emission model. The basic data required for power consumption estimation was obtained by the chassis dynamometer testing of electric vehicle.

1.3 Applicability evaluation of eco-driving evaluation method (JARI,IIS)
The eco-driving theoretical framework according to the vehicle types (ICV, HV, PHV, and EV), traffic flow, and traffic control condition is proposed through existing research survey. On the topic of e-Start, the optimal eco-driving instruction method by considering drawback and advantage on energy consumption is discussed. And the evaluation index of eco-driving was reviewed.

1.4 Applicability evaluation of an electric charge recommendation system for EV (MHI,IIS)
We have made a roadmap of developing an electric charge recommendation system for EV. First, we need a basic analysis of EV users' behavior, for example, charging behavior and route choice. Second, we model a these behaviors by statistical methods. Third, we make a algorithms of an electric charge recommendation system and forth, we evaluate these systems by traffic simulation. Finally, we analyze the effect of the electric charge recommendation system.

1.5 Feasibility Study on the Nowcast Traffic Simulation Model(ITL)
We have made a draft specification of the input data and the output data for Nowcast Traffic Simulation Model to be applied to the Sendai area.

1.6 Feasibility Study on the Collecting and Conveying Method of Traffic Information(ITL)
We have created a policy of the collecting and conveying method of traffic information based on the idea of the "Resilient" infrastructure.

1.7 Evaluation of information infrastructure utilizing cellular communication network or wireless LAN technologies as a practical use(ITL,JARI,MHI)
Prior to the development of the requirements for the information system to be developed, study on the existing information infrastructure on road traffic information has been conducted to create a basis. A prototype information system utilizing smartphones has been developed.

1.8 Business Feasibility Study on the Traffic Information Services(ITL)
We have made a draft of the business model of the traffic information services and have surveyed the acceptability from a web-based questionnaire.
