英文要約Title: Overseas development of the endoscopic examination support system
using innovative communication technology (FY 2011- FY2013) FY2012 Annual Report 1、Development of the high performance endoscopes 1・Development of high-resolution 3D displaying function We studied customized-items that needed to operate endoscopic diagnosis system stably in Thailand, and developed angular sensor using a gyroscope on the endoscopic camera head.
2、Development of ICG fluorescence displaying function ICG fluorescence displaying function, we minimized outer diameter to 5.4mm and combined hi-vision resolution and 3D displaying function.
3.Development of ultrasound image displaying function
The software beam forming algorithm using two or more separated sound sources was developed.
4・Development of high-sensitive displaying function
We advanced development of HEED-HARP camera using magnetic focusing method, and reduction in size and weight to under 400g.
5・Development of the appropriate displaying function for a micro site
Using the Chroma key processing for endoscope image of one frame before, the appropriate displaying function for a micro site was eliminated.
6・Integration of high performance endoscopes
We conducted the demonstration of high performance endoscopes twice in Thailand. The results of their demonstrations, we decided integration requirements and were referring to this project.
7・Animal experiments in domestic institutes
We did in vivo experiments using pig for evaluation of the high-resolution 3D angled endoscope.
8.Animal experiments in Thailand
We did general experiments using pig for already developed high performance endoscopes in Thailand.
2、 Development of the innovative communications equipment
3、Design and manufacture for telecommunication equipment
We adjusted of compression / restoration parameter using a standard image of the pattern generator.
4、Experiments in domestic
Hi-Vision endoscope image, we confirmed that this communication equipment was satisfied with speed / image quality / delay.
5、Synthetic experiments in Thailand
We tested a synthetic telecommunication between The Chulalongkorn University and the Raja Bitty hospital. The image quality was no problem.
6、Verification of a communications satellite
We compared an ordinary telecommunication infrastructure in Thailand with a telecommunication of a communications satellite which more superior of communications quality and speed.
3・System construction of highly-functional endoscopic diagnosis
1、Systemization of display technology of highly-functional endoscopy and innovative telecommunication device.
2、Composition of demonstration system in Thailand
We deiced to set up an alliance with NRCT and Chulalongkorn University, concluded MOU. After that, we examined demonstration twice in Thailand.
3、Planning strategy for business in Thailand
As a result of market research of endoscopic system in Thailand, we found out that market potential was quite high. But the market volume is not large enough.
