英文要約(1) Microgrid Demonstration in Los Alamos
In the fiscal year of 2012, we have shipped two major units of Micro-DX and Slave Unit
and other peripheral devices to the Smart House. In the Smart House, we had worked for
cable connecting, unit re-assembling and unit testing, and finished these works as planned.
We have started demonstrational experiments and continually evaluating the last mile
functionality of PLC and wireless. We participated in the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in September
and the workshop in November held in the U.S.
(2) Smart House Demonstration in Los Alamos
After completion of the smart house, Supply Stabilizer and other demonstration equipment was installed
in the house and was connected to the other equipment such as Smart getaway, Smart meter and home appliances.
We had conducted the experiments twice in the fiscal year.
Details of experiment are as follows.
(1)Change to isolated-operation mode
(2)Calculate the available electric power
(3)Control home appliances
We proved that Supply Stabilizer controls home appliances efficiently and keeps the quality of life
during power outage.
(3) Development of model simulation techniques
Our objective is clarifying possibility of utilization of consumer-side energy storage
(ES) for demand- response (DR) applications of power system coordination with indirect control
schemes to verify improvement of the efficiency and control accuracy for DR.
In the fiscal year, we developed local (ex. HEMS) control algorithms of an ES as well as
corresponding dynamic pricing algorithm (CPP, RTP) to achieve preferable load curves.
As introducing a "dynamic pricing with discharging limitation" algorithm that enforces an ES
to discharge at the consumption power of customer's air-conditioner when the CPP signals were received,
we numerically simulated indirect DR for Fdr-16 with 1600 households in LAC.
As a result, moderate peak-shavings were demonstrated up to 40%-adoption rate of ESs.
