1. Content and result etc. of research and development.The dressed-photon-assisted front films make the wavelength conversion material that converts ultraviolet light into visible light by the mixture with the resin that becomes a film mother material. It has searched for an excellent silicone in compatibility and the decentralization of the wavelength conversion material including the transparency as the film mother material in The University of Tokyo so far. In silicone OE-6636 of Dow Corning Toray Co.,Ltd., it is confirmed to show an excellent characteristic as a film mother material of the dressed-photon-assisted front films. However, it turned out that OE-6636 of Dow Corning Toray Co.,Ltd. would become manufacturing discontinuance by the reason why there were a lot of problems as an original "Encapsulant, lens material, and adhesive" usage in the near future. Then, the substituted silicone was assumed to be a search to OE-6636 of Dow Corning Toray Co.,Ltd. in addition to the technology transfer from The University of Tokyo from among the product other than Dow Corning Toray Co.,Ltd. this time. 1.1 Search for alternative material of silicone OE-6636 that becomes the dressed-photon-assisted front films mother material. 1.1.1 Experiment method. The selection of the silicone selected three kinds of one to have a character (permeability, refractive index, and line expansion coefficient, etc.) near made by Dow Corning Toray Co.,Ltd. that had been used up to now OE-6636 from the catalog of Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. in (LPS-5538, LPS-5555, LPS-5558). 1.1.2 Experiment result. It was able to be confirmed that an excellent character was shown as a film mother material made in Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. LPS-5558 as a result of making the sample, and comparing the absorbance and the emission spectrum by mixing grains of DCM dye of each sample. In addition, it was confirmed to have an equal characteristic in the transparency as the film mother material, the compatibility of the wavelength conversion material, and decentralization in the comparison with the dressed-photon-assisted front films made by using past OE-6636. 1.2 Problem extraction in experimental sample offer to organization related to solar-cell manufacturer, user needs, and practical use. The sample of the dressed-photon-assisted front films formed on the quartz substrate was offered to two companies (Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. and Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.) as a manufacturer that handled various films this term. The optical characteristic was evaluated, and hearing of the problem in the user needs and practical use was done. The main comment is as follows. It was able to be confirmed to have the wavelength conversion function. We cannot use an expensive silicone for practical use. Whether an equal performance can be drawn out with a cheap resin becomes a problem. We would like you to pile up data concerning weather resistance and product life.
