1. Content and results, etc. of research collaboration
In 2013, we started to be proactive in doing the power generation by the small portable power generation system to utilize the hot water getting out of a hot spring and the development of the heat exchange preparing corrosion and scale adhesion countermeasure.
We were proactive in doing the assembly of the steam power generation, confirmed that the power generated by flowing the steam into this generation system.
We started to the consideration due to developing business and market, and feedback to the power generation development.
Everything was going according to the operation plan document. We write down the all items doing in this year as follows.

(1) Development of the heat exchange preparing corrosion and scale adhesion countermeasure used in the small portable power generation system.
Mabuchi have set the small portable power generation system and heat exchange in a hot spring, and started to conduct verification experiments for corrosion and scale adhesion.
(1)-1: Investigation of corrosion condition, and scale adhesion experiment in the field.
(1)-2: Analysis of corrosion condition and scale adhesion.
(1)-3: Consideration of corrosion and scale adhesion countermeasure, and determination of design requirement for heat exchange.
(1)-4: Designing and test production of heat exchange. The progress is as planned.
(1)-5: Investigation of heat exchange equal to performance evaluation of maintenance.
(1)-6: Considering the highly corrosive-resistant frame of the small portable power generation system.
(1)-7: Net estimation of installation and maintenance cost.

(2) First stage prototype of the steam power generation system making of the scroll type of the steam expander.
ULVAC-RIKO, Inc. performed designing and assembly of the steam power generation, and confirmed that this system worked by flowing the steam.
(2)-1: Designing consideration of first stage prototype of the steam power generation system making of the scroll type of steam expander.
(2)-2: Designing and assembly of first stage prototype of the steam power generation system making of the scroll type of steam expander.
(2)-3: Designing and assembly of first stage prototype of steam-water separator.
(2)-5: Demonstration of first stage prototype of the steam power generation system making of the scroll type of steam expander works.
