1. Research and Development of Ultra-bright and Ultra-photostable Fluorescent Nanoparticles

 Last year, we improved adsorption properties of the water-soluble polymer on the surface of fluorescent nanoparticle. This technology enabled us to keep the antibody activity on surface of nanoparticles and decrease the nonspecific binding of nanoparticles to the tissues. We further improved and optimized this technology in this year. The results showed that the specific binding activity of nanoparticles in this year became higher activity than that in last year. We also started the research for the practical application as reagents, for example the storage stability. We are planning to distribute the trial samples next year.



2. Research and Development of Fundamental Technology for Nano-imaging of Cancer Tissues

 We improved data analysis algorithm of fluorescence nanoparticles in imaging data. The new algorithm provided a wider dynamic range and more precisely protein expression evaluation compared to the previous method.
