We developed the formation of the texture on glass substrate by nanoimprinting technology, and controlled the size of texture for enhancing the light scattering by using the periodic structure We tried to analyze the scattering angle in addition to the haze and achieve the suitable light trapping for each layer. No correction was observed between the spectral response and the haze despite the significant increase in haze observed. Instead, a clear correlation appear as a function of scattering angle.
On the other hand, we enhanced the efficiency of 3 stack solar module in the industrial size. As the results, we succeeded in making the large area solar module with the a-Si/interlayer/a-SiGe/interlayer/μc-Si stacked structure. A power of 183W with the size of 1420×1100 mm2 was achieved.
