英文要約Title: BTL Total System Research and Development by Highly Efficient Clean Gasification and Low-Temperature & Low-Pressure FT Synthesis (FY2011-FY2014) FY2013 Annual Report

1) Research and Development of Low-Pressure FT Catalyst (University of Toyama)
In preparation for the sophistication of a cobalt FT catalyst and future cost reduction, we developed iron FT catalysts this year, which is suitable for low-pressure FT synthesis.

2) Research and Development of Low-Pressure FT Reactor Technology (Micro-Energy Co., Ltd.)
Using a bench-testing unit for low-pressure FT synthesis, we tested and examined the influence from reaction temperature and pressure to sophisticate FT reactor technology.

3) Sophistication of Highly Efficient Clean Gasification (Micro-Energy Co., Ltd.)
We developed a vertical gasification furnace to balance the scale-up of a gasification unit and improve the gas composition.

4) Research and Development on the Optimization of the Whole System (Micro-Energy Co., Ltd.)
The system could not be operated in a consolidated way because some parts of the gasification and FT synthesis components needed improvement or modification. Therefore, we reexamined the concept of commercial specifications based on the test data.
