(1)Development of high-efficiency technology
We have achieved a 5.8% efficiency of the film-type dye-sensitized solar cell with improved the structure of ZnO porous membrane and twin dye adsorption technology. We succeeded in expanding the wavelength region of the dye absorption through the development of new dyes and dye adsorption technology. We have found that the efficiency can be improved by the treatment with the flash lamp. We have realized the film photoelectrode of 2.3Ω / □ sheet resistance by the metal mesh formed. This technology combines the low cost and high efficiency can be expected.
(2)Development of high durability
We have improved the durability of high temperature and humidity (85 ℃ -85%) in the new PEDOT counter electrode. It is because the new PEDOT film is hydrophobic and neutral.
(3)Practical test
Experimental results of the tests in the housing, it was found that the film-type dye-sensitized solar cell performance similar to the a-Si is obtained on the condition that the amount of solar radiation is less.
