英文要約Standard test method is necessary to studied the various aluminum alloys for high pressure hydrogen container in order to achieve safety and cost reduction. 6066 and 6069 aluminum alloys are expected to apply to high pressure hydrogen container. In this research, the resistance of stress corrosion cracking and inter granular corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement of 6066 and 6069 aluminum alloys are examined based on high pressure gas safety act.
In 2013 fiscal year, manufacturing conditions of 6066 and 6069 aluminum alloys for trial production were studied. In order to investigate the effects of Si and Mg and Cu amounts, four kinds of alloys were made for 6066 alloy and 6069 alloy respectively. Aging curves of the 6066 alloys and 6069 alloys sheets were investigated and the final aging conditions were determined. The equipments to examine the resistance of stress corrosion cracking and inter granular corrosion and hydrogen enbrittlement were prepared. Then inter granular corrosion resistance of 6066 base alloy and 6069 base alloy were examined. The test method was suitable to examine inter granular resistivity, and 6069 base alloy was shown high inter granular corrosion resistance. In addition, the 6066 alloy sheet was subjected to stress corrosion cracking test. The result showed no stress corrosion cracking and high stress corrosion cracking resistance. In order to investigate the effects of Si and Mg and Cu amount, the test method will be apply to the four kinds of 6066 alloys and 6069 alloys.
