1. Development of construction technology for vinyl greenhouses
We designed and fabricated by optical modeling the frame to install the photovoltaic (PV) panel on greenhouses tentatively.
2. Research and development of environment control unit
For use in demonstration, we designed PV measurement control unit which measures the environmental information about vinyl greenhouse with PV power generation system. To construct the visualization of measurement information at the remote locations, we have changed the configuration of the current PV measurement control unit. For cultivation in greenhouse in the summer season, we have designed a control system of summer to protect the high temperature and absorb the amount of solar radiation. We have developed a sensor input conversion board to input various information about inside and outside environment of greenhouses for measurement control equipment. There are four analog inputs which have power supply to each input per channel.
This board controls the serial communication using RS-485 between measurement control device. This specification supports multi-point input which can extend the input channel number according to the input number of sensors.
3. Development and evaluation of air circulation device
In order to analyze the performance of the blower and the air flow analysis for optimum air circulation in greenhouse, we introduced the stream analysis software. We learned how to work with education software vendor sponsored. We have assembled vacuum tank, vacuum pump, valve, pressure gauge, piping connection parts, and completed the production equipment essential to CFRP molding prototyping. It was confirmed that it maintained a good vacuum stable with the production facilities. We introduced the lamp-type infrared heater as a heat source for curing the resin. By the resin is cured without any problems in molding the test, the heater showed efficacy. As a molding material and parts required for the molding of CFRP, we have prepared FRP form for molding, master form for FRP, silicon back for moldig, carbon fiber and preform for the molding material. Forming by CFRP test was completed without any problems. However, improvement in the impregnation state of resin was required in the test form.
4. Internal demonstrated evaluation
In this research, we developed two devices controlling the environmental parameter bases on the hydroponics environment in the 2013; the evaluation system under the condition of the three (red, blue, green) LED light sources, and controling system adjusting the amount of carbon dioxide. First results shows that the blue LED light source with between 640 and 680 nm wavelength effectively affected the raise of the plant over the germination term. On the other hand, the density of carbon dioxide from 1400 to 1500 PPM does not effectively affected the raise of the plant over the gemination term even if these density affects well over the growth term.
